In July of 2022, the EPA finalized amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Major Sources: Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Boilers and Process Heaters, commonly known as the “Boiler MACT”.
Those who thought they had a margin with the previous standards may not have as much now or they could be out of compliance which could lead to non-compliance in the future.
